The Parts Associate is responsible for operating the parts counter and helping customers find the right part or accessory for their vehicle. They must be familiar with the product lines the dealer carries and the parts and accessories that go with each vehicle. They must have strong customer service skills and attention to detail. A good Parts Staff member adds value by upselling and recommending additional parts or accessories to customers and increasing the number of items sold per ticket.

Job Qualification & Description

  • Motorcycle Licence
  • Extensive knowledge of Powersport Vehicles
  • Competently diagnose and Repair Motorcycles and Powersport
  • Detail oriented during inspection, repair, and filling out work orders
  • Good problem solving and Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read manuals and carry out proper procedure
  • Ability to use a wide range of tools and equipment including but not limited to hoist and tire machine
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and work flow effectively
  • Communication with Service Manager and take direction well
  • Team Player and Team leader
  • Enthusiastic and willing to continue to learn and grow as a Mechanic
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Adhere to assigned work and work Schedule

The Technician is responsible for building, repairing, and servicing machines. They must be up to date on warranty policies, unit safety updates, and product service trainings. They should enjoy learning new things and solving new challenges. They need to have strong time management skills, keep a level head, develop creative solutions, and provide strong customer service. A good technician adds value by increasing efficiency on service jobs to increase revenue and building customer relationships for long term loyalty.

Job Qualification & Description

  • Experience Required
  • Displays extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered and Powersport mechanical experience
  • Effectively manage team members, including technicians and advisors
  • Offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers
  • Assist with or perform administrative task, work order systems, invoice logging, warranty claims and ordering parts
  • Sets up and maintains service desk, including managing service desk team members, and evaluating desk efficiency
  • Resolves service desk problems and improves current service desk methods to increase productivity and customer service
  • Oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs: if necessary, carries out job duties personally to ensure highest quality of work
  • Must have Leadership skills and Team player abilities.
  • Willingness to train new staff members and keep current staff members up to date on policy and procedures
  • Must be up to date on Ontario Health and Safety Acts

The Service Manager is responsible for managing service processes (i.e. diagnosing, testing, and fixing problems), reviewing OEM updates, maintaining tech certifications and trainings and managing service Net Promoter Scores (NPS). They should have strong service knowledge and maintain high levels of customer service. They should be able to solve problems quickly and creatively, have patience, determination and strong leadership experience. They add value through department organization and maximizing service revenue and profitability.

  • Sales Experience a must, Sales in Powersport preferred but willing to train

  • Will be setting up displays, maintaining show room displays as well as keeping our online website up to date with current stock.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude is also desired
  • Willing to set up and work shows, weekends (Saturday)
  • Must be a team player and ready to take on a leadership roll
  • Knowledgeable with F&I or willingness to learn
  • Prepare and Review monthly plans with management team
  • Participate in shows & seek out new opportunity to gain new customers
  • Alternating Saturdays

The Sales and F&I (Finance & Insurance) Associate adds value to sales through financing and insuring; i.e. increase dollar value of each sale by adding an ESC or other finance add-ons. They must be well versed on the current financial and insurance programs. They must be creative and work well with the sales department to partner on closing profitable sales. They must have strong math and organization skills. Past experience in this area improves candidate success.
